When a new music band created their first album, they knew one thing for sure — their song “Don’t Let Me Go” had to be seen, not just heard. They wanted a professional music video production that could help them break into the industry, get airtime on music TV channels, and reach thousands of new fans online.
But like most new bands, they had a small budget and big dreams.
That’s when they came to EasyLiving Films, a Bangkok-based video production company, and met director Sergiy Pudich, who was immediately inspired by the song’s emotional power. Despite the limited budget, we committed fully to helping the band bring their vision to life.
At EasyLiving Films, whether it’s a large-scale video production or an indie video clip, we always aim for quality and storytelling impact. For Don’t Let Me Go, Sergiy proposed a narrative inspired by George Orwell’s 1984—a dystopian world where society is poisoned by control and conformity.
In the story:
The lead singer plays a brainwashed citizen in a grey world ruled by Big Brother.
A rebellious girl with a bright spirit awakens his mind.
As they run toward freedom and love, he sacrifices himself to save her—only to find out she’s the daughter of the regime’s general.
In the final twist, love sparks a memory, hinting that rebellion still lives inside him.
Creating a complex narrative like this in a low-budget video production setting was no easy task — especially with only one shooting day available. To give the video a rich and cinematic look, we used RED digital cinema cameras paired with vintage Lomo anamorphic lenses from the Soviet era. The style matched perfectly with the visual language of dystopia and dictatorship.
We scouted multiple locations, built custom set pieces, and filled the scenes with unique steampunk wardrobe and props for background actors. As always, the EasyLiving Films crew handled everything from production design to equipment logistics in-house.
It was the longest shoot in our history — a full 24-hour production day — but the result was worth every minute.
Once filming wrapped, our post production team began the next phase:
Frame-perfect editing to match the music’s emotional beats
Cinematic color grading to enhance the dystopian tone
Custom sound design and VFX for story impact
Final mastering and delivery for broadcast and streaming
We treated every frame as a painting, making sure the story came through not just in visuals, but in feeling.
Picked up by a major music TV channel for regular broadcasting
Reached 100,000 views on YouTube within weeks
Earned glowing feedback from both producers and fans
This project proved that a tight budget doesn’t have to limit storytelling. It just takes a committed media production team that knows how to make it happen.
Whether you’re an emerging band or an established artist, our team is here to bring your song to life with professional media production, expert videographers, and a passion for storytelling. From script to screen — we’ve got your back.
